Front Row Issues

It is with regret that due to numerous injuries to our specialist front row players this weekend we are unable to fulfil our fixture at Braintree.
To explain- Of the 7 players -2 have Head Injury Protocols to follow before returning with one needing neurological referral ,
3 others have rib and shoulder ’stinger’ conditions deeming them unfit. We are supplying a detailed medical report.
The other two lads are either on honeymoon and out of the country or on compassionate leave due to an overnight birth . This has left us with just one fit or available front row. RFU regulations deem you have to have 4 in a match day squad.

I would like to thank on behalf of our club the good people at Braintree for their understanding and response to the cancellation and accepting our apologies especially around their matchday revenue. They like us are a proud club and acknowledge that the situation was unavoidable and a difficult call to make and have themselves had these kind of issues in the recent past.
We will update the website further during the week on the injury status ahead of next weekends game
