On cold Wednesday night the undefeated baa baa's suffered their first defeat 36 - 46 at the hands of a youthful Railway RFC which was a team made up of workers and contractors from network rail, and not as Gerry Mansfield thought a touring team from Ireland.

After a few last minute drop outs and no shows, the boys stepped up to the plate and a special mention must go to Scott Murphy and Paul Smith playing in the front row. The game was played in great spirit and for the brave few that turned out to watch it was an entertaining game, with some great try's from both teams. The game was a step up in standard to what we have been playing so far this season but I think most of us old boys enjoyed the challenge a lot more.

Next date for the diary will hopefully be Romford away on the 21st before the first team fixture, then on April 19th we are playing Bishop Stortford at home and the club will be holding a charity fundraising day for breast cancer awareness.
