The Club are delighted to announce a new partnership with St Francis Hospice....

The club are delighted to announce St Francis Hospice as one of the clubs "Charity of the year" for the 2018/19 season.

Barking will be working closely with St Francis Hospice over the coming season to help raise their profile further whilst organising a number of fundraisers (including two charity matches to be announced in due course) over the course of the season to help raise much needed funds for the charity. Whilst also helping, where the club can, to promote the many fundraising events the hospice organises throughout year.

Barking Director of Rugby Andrew Moreland said “the club is delighted to be able call St Francis Hospice one of our charitys' of the year for the 2018/19 season. The hospice care for so many people not only in Barking but in many other areas of Essex, we want to play a bigger part in the community and helping raise awareness and funds for St Francis Hospice will enable us to do that.”

Saint Francis Hospice is an independent charity and one of the largest adult hospices in the UK. Their team of specialist consultants, doctors, nurses and a range of other health and social care professionals provide care and support to individuals with a life-limiting illness, as well as their carers and family members, completely free of charge.
