Barking RFC would like to send its most sincere thanks to all the clubs and individuals in the rugby community who have sent their support and kind wishes to the boys and Peter since the accident on Sunday. All of these will be passed on to the families of those involved. It is incredibly touching.

As and when we are allowed to we will update members on the conditions of those who were injured and are undergoing treatment at the Royal London Hospital.

The club has been informed of fund raising efforts that have been set up already to help and would like to thank everyone behind that.

As a club, we are currently discussing our own plans on how best to support all those involved in the accident who are recovering from their injuries. We anticipate that we will make a decision and be able to make an announcement soon. This will allow families the time and space they need, and allows us as a club to consult them on our plans.
