Our supporters have raised £1600 !

The Barking and Dagenham Lottery has been going for just over a year and to celebrate, several of the local good causes received a substantial amount of money from the Community Pot.
The Community Pot is made up of 60p from generic ticket sales that don’t have a chosen cause and 10p from every other ticket sale goes into it.

Councillor Saima Ashraf, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Community Leadership and Engagement said: “Barking and Dagenham Lottery has been a huge success with the good causes locally raising a large amount of money to enable them to continue their fantastic charity work.
“I would like to congratulate the eleven causes who have qualified for this extra money and hope it goes some way in helping them to help others”
Eleven of the good causes have qualified and will each receive £900 from the Community Pot.
The groups that will receive the funding are: AbPhab Youth Club, Arc Theatre, Barking and Dagenham District Scouts, Barking and Dagenham School Football Association, Barking and Dagenham Cycling Club, Barking and Dagenham Youth Dance, Barking and Dagenham Music and Drama, Barking Rugby Club, Carers of Barking and Dagenham, DABD and Whole Body Therapy.

So far Barking Rugby Club has raised the most the amount of money, £714.50.
